Friday, where have you been all week!?! TGIF and FWF! Just a quick post this week with a card I threw together super quick yesterday when both kids were napping at once...oh wait, scratch that...when my little guy was napping and his toddler sister was having "quiet" time in her room instead of napping and doing her very best to wake him up too. No naps from a tempermental 2 1/2 year old ALL week make for one VERY long week!
To see all of the other great Unity creations on Friends with Flair this week head over to the Unity blog!
Supplies used:
Cardstock
Authentique PP
Unity stamps: January 2012 KOM
Other: Crackle paint, glitter, pop dots, silk ribbon, button and twine.
I'm entering this card into the Unity Monthly Challenge New Beginnings. Nothing says new beginnings to me like a butterfly starting life as a caterpillar and emerging from a cocoon a fresh and new creature!

Super card. Love the papers and the little bit of sparkle on the butterfly
Poppies and butterflies..... who can ask for more! Gorgeous!
This is so VERY pretty!
Soooooo pretty. Love the colors and of course that beautiful butterfly.
I can empathize..although my memories of this go WAY back...but my daughter NEVER liked to nap. She was (and is) an independent one.
And I agree. New beginnings. (Oh, and maybe a good glass of Pinot)
Love the card.
I love the colour scheme that you used. Beautiful card.
What a pretty card, Crystal!! Love the patterned papers and the sweet butterfly. Great card!!
this is a very I chating card. and so pretty
Stunning! Sorry to hear about the lack of napping at your house :)
Great color combo! The pleated ribbon and the button are a nice complement.
This is just gorgeous! I love the touch of glitter on your beautiful butterfly and your wonderful choice of colours.
Your card is adorable. I know the feeling, I have a 2 year old who does not like to nap, or sleep at night either, and with a deplopyed husband it seems like there is no time for stamping at all.
This is beautiful! I never can resist butterflies:-)
Beautiful card. Love that paper and the butterfly looks great in teal!
Very pretty card! Love your pleated ribbon!
Gorgeous card! Those colors are amazing together! The pleat in the ribbon rocks!!!
Fabulous ribbon and I love the colours!
Sorry your little guy didn't nap this week--ugh! I LOVE your card. The color (and glitter on) the butterfly is beautiful, and that patterned paper is amazing.
FABulous card! I love the ribbon treatment and color combination. Absolutely lovely!
Can't go wrong with Unity and Authentique together! Adorable card and I love that sentiment, just used it last night.
Oh do I remember those days! Mine was a really good napper, but there were times and it always seemed it was a week long string of not settling down and I thought I was going to pull my hair out!
Love this card and fabulous ribbon treatment!
So very pretty!!
Beautiful work and great sentiments
