A little birdie told me...

It's Friday and Friends with Flair!!!  I missed last week for the first time in a long time, what can I say but sometimes life gets hectic.
Today I have a card to share that I made for my daughter this week.  She will be 3 next month and she's such a little girl all of a sudden!  Last month she painted a beautiful bird feeder and had so much fun watching the birds eating out of it until a giant mutant squirrel came along and demolished it after only having it up for a week or so.  :(  We got her another feeder but it's not the same as the one she painted herself and even the birds don't seem to like it as much.  We had to get a squirrel proof one so maybe that has something to do with it.  I made her this card to cheer her up.

I made this with the Unity color challenge in mind using greens, pinks and off white.  The inspiration for the design came from a cover card from the March/April issue of Paper Crafts designed by Kalyn Kepner.
Supplies used:  Kraft cardstock.  Unity stamps (One of a Kind and My Dear), My Minds Eye Howdy Doody PP, Spellbinders Die, EK Success border punch, Copic markers.

Stinkin' squirrel. Although, I bet the time with mom will stick with her longer than anything :) Beautiful card!

LOVE this card. So feminine. I am sure she loved it.

Ahh, yes. Squirrels. They are the menace to the bird feeders...as are deer.

I can't seem to keep my feeders loaded due two the deer and squirrels.

3 YO's are so sweet. Mine was so girly girl. All pink, patent leather, and frilly dresses...My daughter was never sweeter as when she was about that age. Savor it. Tweens and Teens are why grey hair and stress lines exist! :)

Aww, that's too bad about the bird feeder... :( But, it was fun to make and gorgeous to look at for a week- right? ;)

The card is adorable! ♥ So sweet- I'm sure she'll love it! I have a cousin that's turning 3 on the 15th! She's such a cutey- but has quite an attitude ;D

This is such an adorable card! Beautiful colours. (We've lost more than one feeder to squirrels, not even mutant ones! :P)

I seem to miss FWF all the time anymore, so I understand fully how life gets hectic. I am glad that it slowed down enough for you to be able to share this beauty of a card you created! The retro feel of it is so fab!!! Love it!
