It's Friday, the Holiday weekend is here and it's Friends with Flair, oh the excitement!
My daughter LOVES Disney princesses! Recently she has become obsessed with dressing up as the princesses as well. It is pretty cute although we get some weird looks at the park and grocery store sometimes.
Here is my layout documenting this sweet moment in time (and yes, she really did insist that we call her Cinderella all day)!
Supplies used:
The papers and gold stickers came in a Disney kit I found at Joann's.
Unity stamps used: He, She, You Said, May 2012 KOM and Absolutely Priceless
Copic markers
Wishing you all a happy and safe Memorial Weekend and a heartfelt thanks to all of the wonderful veterans and their families who have served and honored our country.

Born to Fly
Another Friday, another Friends with Flair! Happy Friday Unity peeps!
I was inspired to make these cards last month when I saw the technique and link in Two Peas gallery but of course I forgot to bookmark it and now can't find my original inspiration. :(
I used watercolor paper and stamped the trio of butterflies from Unity's Love Never Fails in black ink and then stamped the single butterfly from the kit in watermark ink and heat embossed it with clear powder. I colored the top of the card with watercolor crayons and then sprayed with water and used the heat gun to push the water down the paper for a drippy effect.
The sentiments are from the Dream Big Itty Bitty and Life Becoming (born to fly). I used the leftover watercolor paper to make the sentiment banners and added some bling underneath.
Happy Friday all!

A little birdie told me...
It's Friday and Friends with Flair!!! I missed last week for the first time in a long time, what can I say but sometimes life gets hectic.
Today I have a card to share that I made for my daughter this week. She will be 3 next month and she's such a little girl all of a sudden! Last month she painted a beautiful bird feeder and had so much fun watching the birds eating out of it until a giant mutant squirrel came along and demolished it after only having it up for a week or so. :( We got her another feeder but it's not the same as the one she painted herself and even the birds don't seem to like it as much. We had to get a squirrel proof one so maybe that has something to do with it. I made her this card to cheer her up.
I made this with the Unity color challenge in mind using greens, pinks and off white. The inspiration for the design came from a cover card from the March/April issue of Paper Crafts designed by Kalyn Kepner.
Supplies used: Kraft cardstock. Unity stamps (One of a Kind and My Dear), My Minds Eye Howdy Doody PP, Spellbinders Die, EK Success border punch, Copic markers.
